This holiday resort is situated on the South African side of the Orange River, 10km from the Vioolsdrift border post between South Africa and Namibia. You can either camp or stay in fully equipped self-catering chalets. Campsites are on grass, shaded and private and share an ablution block with hot water showers. Each site has a power point, light and braai (barbeque) area with table and benches. The resort has a swimming pool, pub and playground. Activities include river rafting, hiking, bird watching and fishing. Take note that the last fuel stop if you come from South Africa is at Steinkopf, 80 km from Vioolsdrift, and the nearest fuel station is at Noordoewer on the other side of the border. All shopping should be done in Springbok before going onto Vioolsdrift. (26-Sep-11).
