The Malachite bird hide is situated in the Wilderness National Park managed by South African National Parks. The stunning park full of nature trails and thick wooded forest is a definite must for nature and bird lovers. The bird hide is a rectangular wooden structure with windows on three sides and the ideal location for spotting the Knysna Loerie, or one of the five Kingfisher species that occur here. The park has various picnic sites and is ideal for day visitors.
