“We stayed over at Karoo National Park from 12 to 15 March 2011.
The camp is nicely placed as a stop-over on the way to the Cape. Security is good, there is easy access from the N1 and the camp is very neat and well kept. The re-introduction of lions to the park, has added additional interest but also has drawbacks. The long evening strolls in the park are no longer possible and we missed the wildlife that used to come into the caravan park at night.
The special rate of R99 during the week for two pensioners, is good value for money.
There is good MTN reception and a GPRS Vodacom data signal.
We will certainly be visiting there again in the future whilst health permits. Highly recommended.

“Highly recommended. We stayed here June 2008 and the rest camp is very well run, clean with good facilitities. We saw many people staying for a single night obviously on route and its clear that this is the camp site of choice in Beaufort West area. There are lots to do and see in the reserve as well and well worth a couple of nights stay.” -
