Citrusdal, nestled between the Koue Bokkeveld and Swartberg Mountains, is situated on the N7 about 108 km north of Cape Town. The village lies amidst green citrus orchards and fields of rooibos, buchu and wild flowers at the southern gateway to the Cederberg. The Olifants River flowing through the fertile valley is the lifeblood of the farming community, Citrusdal and its surrounding area is very popular with hikers and mountaineers who wish to explore the Wolfberg Arch and Cracks, the Maltese Cross, Tafelberg or Sneeuberg regions of the Cederberg.
