Fish Hoek is situated near Cape Town. It was once a municipality on its own but is now part of the City of Cape Town. Fish Hoek beach used on an informal basis for whaling and fishing, it was only laid out as a township in 1918. It is a very popular coastal suburb for retired people or holidays makers. Activities at Fish Hoek include fishing, surfing, sailing and sunbathing.
