Klein Pella lies ±115 km east of Springbok just off the N7 in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. It is named after the ancient town Pella, east of the Jordan River (Israel). The area is blistering hot in summer (UP to 60°C) and some seasons it does not rain at all. Farming: Livestock: goats, sheep, karakul. Fruit: dates. The biggest date farm in the Southern Hemisphere is found at the town. Things to do include River rafting, 4x4 drives and Mountain climbing nearby.
