Description [ correction ]

The lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation, rustic en-suite chalets, campsites, bar, restaurant and swimming pool All this set under a canopy of mature indigenous trees overlooking the Kunene River. Activities include white water rafting, sundowner boat cruises, visits to the local Himba people, guided birding trips and canoes are available for hire. Rainy season is from December to April. 4X4 to be cautious during this time.

“All in all, Kunene River Lodge was a good experience. A bit too busy maybe and some of the camping sites rather small. The camp was very full and we felt a bit overcrowded.
