This rest camp is situated within Namib Naukluft Park. It consists of 21 camping sites, the washing facilities are located in a communal washing block, with showers, flushing toilets and wash-basins(Light in bathrooms). They also have 6 chalets available. It is also the launching point of the eight day Naukluft Hiking trail, one of the toughest trails in Africa. This is a great base camp to go on the hiking trails, there are two short day hikes here as well. The Naukluft section of the park was set up in order to provide a sanctuary for Hartmann's mountain zebra, which are endemic to Namibia. Other wildlife that can be viewed includes kudu, gemsbok, klipspringer, duiker, steenbok, leopard, baboon, black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox, African wild cat, caracal and aardwolf. Naukluft cliffs are also home to various species of cliff-breeding birds, and there are a variety of tree, shrub and aloe species within the park.

Watch out for baboons they steal food.

The entrance to the park is on Pad D854, about 9 km from the BuellsPort turn-off from C14.
