Directions

From the C33 coming from Karibib on your way to Omaruru, you turn left into the D2315. After 10 km on the D2315 you enter a gate to the "Erongo Mountain Conservancy". Guards will write down your car's registration number. Please note this is not a police roadblock! This gate only controls wildlife. No entry fee is payable! After a further 14 km, you get the D2316 turnoff. NOTE: At the left turnoff into D2316 we do not have a signboard yet, just follow the "Erongo Plateau Camp" signboard. On D2316 after 9 km you will find the left entrance gate of Farm Eileen. From here on please drive slowly the next 3km on this farm road to the campsite on your right. Watch out in our rainy season. The road can be damaged by heavy rainfalls, thus a vehicle with good ground clearance is advised at all times.

Comments [ leave a comment ]

“This excellent campsite is off the beaten track. There are 4 huge sites each with a braai stand, shaded area and a tap. The sites are extremely private and have beautiful view from the hills down into the valley. There is a waterhole in front of the camp and a variety of game come to quench their thirst. The ablutions are large and clean with hot water. There are no power points. There is also a hiking trail. Due to popularity, pre-booking is suggested.” - Mietsie Visser, 2014/05/14
