This is a bridge going over the Letaba River. The Groot Letaba River originates from the Drakensberg Escarpment, descending in long runs into random riffle or pools. The rivers start off as the Groot Letaba River then a tributary the Middle Letaba River and just before the Kruger National park the tributary Small Letaba River, flows into the river. There have been more than 20 major dams constructed in the Groot Letaba River catchment.
