Skukuza is situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River it is the largest camp in the Kruger National Park. The campsites have power points, ablutions facilities with hot water and a communal Kitchen. It accommodates maximum six people per site. The camp has a large variety of amenities like a internet café, restaurant, library, filling station, public telephones, a post office, a bank, car hire, two restaurants, shops, a deli, shops, and a laundry. There is also two swimming pools and a picnic area outside the camp for day visitors. This is a malaria zone. The gate times for the Kruger National Park is 05:30-18:30(Nov-Feb), 05:30-18:00(Mar, Oct), 06:00-17:30(May-Jul), 06:00-18:00(Apr/Aug-Sept). Kruger National park is a malaria risk area, precautions should be taken.

“We stayed in a 4 sleeper tent. We had 4 beds, metal cupboard, fridge & a fan inside. Braai, table & plastic chairs outside. We didn't use the fan but it was cool enough with all the windows open. Ablutions blocks were clean. We were right next to the fence & saw Kudu eating a few meters away. Expect to be woken around the gate opening time by other people leaving.” - Graeme Stonebank, 2009/12/09
