Uitkyk Pass is situated in the Cederberg Wilderness Area near Algeria. A 46 km gravel road winds through Uitkyk Pass, up Nieuwoudt's Pass and down to the Clanwilliam road bordering the dam. The Cederberg is renowned for its stunning landscapes and spectacular rock formations. The Cederberg Wilderness Area is now one of eight World Heritage Sites within the Cape Floristic Region.
