Campsite on a farm is a great accommodation option if you plan on doing the surrounding hikes in the Cederberg. Facilities vary from Backpackers dorm rooms to a original self catering old farmhouse. There is also private campsites with grass and shade. The sites have electricity and water. Access to restaurant and bar.There is a restaurant perfect for the meat lover as well as a café with sweets, drinks and ice.

Directions

It is easier to get to us by the Ceres route if you came from Cape Town. The gravel road is in a better condition. Cape Town to Cederberg Oasis is 246km. Take the N1 north then Take the R44 to Ceres. When you enter Ceres turn left at the second robot towards Prince Alfreds' Hamlet. (R303) Drive through Prince Alfreds' Hamlet. Pass the Gydo Pass. Keep driving for 20 km until Op Die Berg. 200m Past Op Die Berg turn right at the sign that says Cederberg. Follow the tar road for approximately. 18km. At the end of the tar road keep going straight onto the gravel road. Don t turn right. Cederberg Oasis 45km from the beginning of the gravel road. A along the way you will pass: Sneeukop, Luiperds Kloof, Zonderwater, Mount Ceder, you will drive over the mountain pass. Cederberg Oasis follow it straight till you'll se the Cederberg Oasis.
