The Robberg Peninsula is a nature reserve situated on the Garden Route about 8km south of Plettenberg Bay. The beautiful coastal resort is a National Monument and stretches for about four kilometres down the coastline sweeping out into the ocean. Only rock and surf angling are allowed inside the restricted area of the marine reserve and a permit is needed. Fishing from boats and spear fishing is against park rules.
