Fish Hoek is situated near Cape Town. It was once a municipality on its own but is now part of the City of Cape Town. Fish Hoek beach used on an informal basis for whaling and fishing, it was only laid out as a township in 1918. It is a very popular coastal suburb for retired people or holidays makers. Take a walks at the Jager's walk, a path linking Fishhoek beach to Sunny cove with a coastal path leading to Simon's town and beyond. Activities at Fish Hoek include fishing, surfing, sailing and sunbathing.
