Giants Playground near Keetmanshoop gets its name from a stack of gigantic 160-180 million year old dolerite boulders laid out in a bizarre rock formation as if giants played with them and left them there. It is situated at the Kokerboom Forest, also known as the Quiver Tree or Aloe dichotoma.
Note there is a gate at the entrance here - payment first has to be made at the Quiver Tree Forest a bit further away.
