Whilst on its way from Swakopmund to Table Bay, on 5 September 1909, a thick fog forced the Eduard Bohlen ship to run aground on the Namibian Skeleton Coast. This coast is unforgiving to all who come near it, and this can clearly be seen in the wreck which lies isolated near Conception Bay, rusting away about 400m from the sea. (Apr-13).
