Damaraland Camp is in the Huab River Valley, winner of the 2005 WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow Conservation Award.
The camp is a sustainable ecotourism venture, and most importantly is owned and largely run by the local community.
Accommodation is in 10 adobe-styled, thatched units each raised on individual wooden decking, with en-suite facilities (shower only), a walk-in dressing area and built-in fan. The camp has a restaurant and bar.

The track between the Damaraland Camp (Wilderness Safaris) and the 'Ugab Save the Rhino Trust Camp' is very remote. (Nov-14).
