HEALTH:
Vaccination regulations change from time to time, always check before you leave, but this border control was checking travellers passports for yellow fever vaccinations check June 2018. If you do not have this, and its a requirement at the time, you will be denied entry.
INSURANCE:
Travellers reported never having to buy additional car insurance when entering or travelling to Namibia.
VEHICLE PERMIT:
If one is unable to buy a vehicle permit at the border, it is recommended to visit the nearest NATIS office to obtain this. (ie. This rarely happens, but a traveller reported this happened at the Ngoma Border Post in 2011).
