Camp Gecko has recently changed management and the new Operation Managers are Anna & Björn. The camp offers a total of six fixed safari tents, which are arranged idyllically and appealingly at a water hole. Two of the tents are multi-level tents, three further tents have only one level, last but not least the two family tents. The campsites on offer include three campsites set up on the mountain or along the mountain ridge, two of these campsites have completely private ablutions and the third is conveniently located near the Lapa and ablutions. All these campsites can accommodate up to six people. There is another campsite located near the farmhouse which is made up of 4 pitches that have two shared ablutions. Then a bit further away there is the "the wild one" campsite where guests can enjoy complete seclusion and privacy.

FROM WINDHOEK VIA REHOBOTH (220KM): Drive on the B1 in the direction of REHOBOTH, pass Rehoboth and 4 km after Rehoboth turn off to the right at the sign 'KLEIN AUB'. Drive on the C 24 till the sign 'NAUCHAS/SOLITAIRE' then turn to the right on the D 1261. After NAUCHAS turn off to the right on the D 1275 which takes you down SPREETSHOOGTE PASS.Approximately 15 km from the pass on the right-hand side you will find the sign of Camp Gecko. FROM SWAKOPMUND (280KM): Drive on the B2 to WALVIS BAY. At the circle turn off on the C14. Stay on the C14 till the sign NAUCHAS on the left, turn off on the D1275. Drive on the D1275 till you reach the sign Camp Gecko on the left-hand side. FROM MALTAHÖHE (200KM): Drive on the C14 in the direction of SOLITAIRE. After Solitaire approximately 9 km turn off on the right-hand side on the D 1275 for 20 km to reach the sign of Barchan Dune Retreat.
