Christuskirche (Christ Church) is a landmark and Lutheran church in the historic centre of Windhoek. The church, built in the Gothic revival style with Art Nouveau elements, was opened in 1910. It was built from local quartz sandstone and the portal and altar made of marble from Italy. The clock, bronze bells and part of the roof were shipped from Germany. The colourful stained lead glass windows in the sanctuary were a gift from Emperor Wilhelm II. .
