A small owner-run rest camp with 8 well-kept campsites with various amenities, all situated in natural surroundings on road C40 only 3km outside Kamanjab town.
Kamanjab Rest Camp is a tranquil leafy game sanctuary with free-roaming giraffes, zebras and antelopes, as well maintained hiking trails leading to waterholes and a sundowner spot.
Located on the doorstep to the famous Etosha National Park and the scenic Damaraland, our rest camp is an ideal base for self-drive half day and full day excursions to visit Etosha's big game species, a Himba village, a Cheetah Conservation Project, a rock art site, the Grootberg Pass, Palmwag, Twyfelfontein, and other sightseeing attractions.
Kamanjab Rest Camp is also conveniently located as stop-over en route between Kaokoland and Etosha, as well as for travels between highlights in the north-western parts of Namibia and the tourist hubs of Swakopmund and Windhoek, with some of these destinations reachable on tarred overland roads all the way from Kamanjab.
