Four farms (Gunsbewys, Tiras, Landsberg and Koiimasis) have teamed up to form the Tirasberg Conservancy which covers 125 square kilometres. The Conservancy protects, ecologically manages and aims to make the beautiful Tiras Mountains area accessible to tourists. A Tirasberg Conservancy Information Centre was opened in 2008 on the farm Gunsbewys where visitors can learn about the fauna, flora and ecology of this sensitive area.
