This is the border control post between Mozambique and Zimbabwe, on the Mozambique side. Border post is now open 24 hrs. as from 17 January 2024.

You will need a Passport valid for 6 months and an entry visa except if from South Africa, Malawi or Mauritius.

Vehicle registration book or docs must accompany you at all times. An insurance and road user fee is charged. The visitors should also be prepared to pay a weighbridge charge for late arrivals for inbound travellers.

Get to this border post as early as possible in the morning (lots of trucks crossing here) and try not to cross into Zimbabwe on a Friday afternoon/evening, which could be chaotic.
