The Banhine National Park is situated between the Limpopo and Changane Rivers in central southern Mozambique, which was officially proclaimed as a hunting area in 1969 and upgraded to national park status in 1972. The Park It forms part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area which links Mozambique with parks in Zimbabwe and South Africa. (Updated Jan-16)
