Chimanimani is one of the main towns situated in Manicaland province in Zimbabwe often known as the Eastern Highlands. Most people in this area are of Ndau origins. The town is also a district which borders Mozambique to the east, Chipinge District to the west and Mutare to the north. Has a very small town and a large part is of rural setting where agriculture forms the area economy.

Many of the region’s attractions center around the village which nestles at the foothills of the Chimanimani Mountain Range. Chimanimani town has a true African feel but travellers will be able to get just about anything they need.
