The Wildlife Camp is situated on the banks of the Luangwa River, on land owned by the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia and generates income to help support many of the educational projects run by the WECSZ. Opened in 1992, the Wildlife Camp is an affordable option, providing rustic en-suite chalets, a secluded en-suite tented camp, a beautiful campsite as well as a bushcamp for overnight walking safaris.
Full board, a la carte menu and self- catering options are available. We welcome guests of all ages and offer flexible options to suit your needs. The camp has a relaxed family atmosphere.
As there are no fences between us and the park, we have animals roaming in and around the camp. Our qualified Zambian guides lead all our game drives and walking safaris, and focus on experiencing the game and park in its natural state. We also offer an insight into the local community and culture. Wildlife Camp is situated on land owned by Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ). We operate under their auspices and proudly donate a considerable portion of funds generated by your stay with us to the WECSZ – through the lease fee that we pay, which in return supports conservation education efforts in the Luangwa Valley and Zambia.
