This self-catering camp has spacious, grassed campsites, with a view of the river, and each contain separate rondavel ablution facilities with shower and toilet. There is a communal washing up area with hot and cold water. Water is heated twice daily by wood fired boilers. There is no power points at the campsites. Some of the campsites have their own thatched lapa which contain tables and benches and are ideal for use as a kitchen/eating area.
Activities include fishing, river rafting, canoeing, safari walks and more.

Kabula Lodge is situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River in Barotseland, Western Zambia. From the border post at Katima Mulilo (Wenela Border Post), between Namibia and Zambia, head north towards Mongu on Route M10. Our clearly signposted entrance is approximately 58 kms along this recently surfaced high standard main road.

FERRY INFO:
There is a new bridge across the Zambezi just before the turn off Sioma. The new tar road takes you from Katima Mulilo across the flood plains to Kalabo. There are no more ferries. The Sitoti ferry is no longer in operational. (2019)
ROAD INFO:
The Road from Katima Mulilo to Mongu has been tarred with a new bridge near Sioma that takes you to the eastern side of the river up to Mongu and Kalabo. (2019)
