CAMPING: Expensive camping was offered by park wardens to travellers for approx ZAR900 per night, including the vehicle and park entry fee, including the use of a long drop toilet but no water at the campsite. (May 2015).
ROAD CONDITIONS: Reportedly, the road into the park was very bad and after passing through the entrance gate it got even worse as climbing up onto the Chizarira hills and heading for the parks office. (May 2015).
Be warned, it's best to ask about conditions and entry fees at the gate guards, before entry into this park. You will be forced to pay high personal and vehicle park entry fees even if you just enter to look and decide not to stay in the park. (May 2015).
