The border post serves as the border crossing for rail and road traffic between Botswana and South Africa. A valid passport book and vehicle papers must always accompany your car. Any goods acquired outside the country must be declared at the border post. For any clarifications on this matter please contact the Customs office. Cards payment accepted but always have enough cash in case the machines are down. Ramatlabama is the southern end of Botswana's A1 highway, it is a single paved carriageway. (Jan-19).
