The tiny village of Kazungula serves as the border post between Botswana and Zimbabwe and is situated close to Kasane. Kasane forms the gateway to the Chobe National park. Kazungula is also the docking point for the Kazungula ferry. A valid passport book and vehicle papers must always accompany your car. Goods acquired outside the country must be declared. For any clarifications on this matter please contact the Customs office. The motorized pontoon ferry operates between the border posts at Kazungula Zambia and Kasane Botswana.
