Kazungula is also the docking point for the Kazungula ferry. A valid passport book and vehicle papers must always accompany your car. Goods acquired outside the country must be declared. For any clarifications on this matter please contact the Customs office. Credit cards are accepted for payment of custom fees. Cash in small denominations is reliable, usually USD as card payments seldom work. The motorized pontoon ferry operates between the border posts at Kazungula Zambia and Kasane Botswana.
