A campsite situated a short distance from the track from Deception Valley to Piper Pan. There are two areas which have been used, both under some acacia trees on a small hill. The camp is unfenced and there is no facilities. But Letiahau is regarded as one campsite.
Campsites must be pre-booked through Bigfoot Safaris and a 30 percent deposit paid to secure your booking. When the booking is secure, Park fees need to be paid through the Department of Wildlife at central pay points, or at the entrance gate to Parks. Bigfoot operates 41 campsites in Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) and in the Khutse Game reserve. Night drives are prohibited. No fuel sold in the Reserve.
Borehole water available but visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinking water. You are no longer allowed to collect wood from the bush in the CKGR! (Oct-14).
