Booking

A site just off the main track from Deception Valley to Piper Pan. Situated in a small clump of acacia on a small rise. The camp is unfenced and there are no facilities available. There is also no 'longdrop toilet' (pit latrine). Only a fireplace. Campers are advised to bring own drinking water.

There is only 1 campsite here - even though the booking code is "CKWIL-07".

Campsites must be pre booked through Bigfoot Safaris and a 30 percent deposit paid to secure your booking. When the booking is secured, Park fees need to be paid through the Department of Wildlife at central pay points or at the entrance gate to Parks.

Bigfoot operates 41 campsites in Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) and in the Khutse Game reserve. Night drives are prohibited. No fuel available in park.

 Travel Tip!

Just wilderness campsite, there are no facilities. Borehole water available at main gate but visitors are encouraged to bring their own for drinking and showers. You are no longer allowed to collect wood from the bush in the CKGR, bring your own firewood! (Oct-14).
