Mabuasehube is located on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi national park and is a beautiful camp with a view of the pan. The name means 'red earth' named after the red Kalahari sand. This camp has been privatised and now it is managed and operated by the Inter-Tourism Group who can be contacted for bookings and rates and no longer operates under the DWNP. Only park fees are paid directly to DWNP offices.
Note that reservations are mandatory.
There are four campsites, unfenced, and they all overlook the Mabuasehube pan. Campsites have A-Frame structures for shade, bucket showers and a long drop toilet. Most of the time there is no water here. So be sure to bring your own water.
