A small town situated in Northern part of the KZN province of South Africa. The town is 10km from the Golela Swaziland Border and is sometimes known as uPhongola. It is conveniently situated on the N2, near the Lubombo Mountains. The uPhongola Local Municipality is one of the five municipalities in the Zululand district.
