Sani Top camping is situated on top of the Sani Pass and boasts the Highest Pub in Africa (2 874m). There is no formal campsite; visitors camp on a big field below the backpackers and use the backpacker's ablution facilities. The lodge can accommodate 40 campers. There is no electricity for campers but they are welcome to have drinks and meals at the lodge restaurant. A valid passport is needed to enter Lesotho. Even though there is a sign that says 'Only 4x4 vehicles allowed' it is possible to traverse the pass with a sedan vehicle when the weather conditions are good.
