Shingwedzi is a medium-sized camp deep in the heart of the Mopane shrubveld in the northeast of the park. It is a rustic camp that still carries the essence of the bush and is untouched by modern technology. All types of accommodation from guest houses to camping is available and there is also a swimming pool for the use of guests. They offer campsites with power points and also hot water ablution facilities. There is also a washing up area at the camp. The gate times for Kruger National Park is 05:30-18:30(Nov-Feb), 05:30-18:00(Mar, Oct), 06:00-17:30(May-Jul), 06:00-18:00(Apr/Aug-Sept). Kruger National park is a malaria risk area, precautions should be taken.
