The Kromdraai camp consists of 50 self catering log cabins, each sleeping six people. It was originally built as accommodation for the people making the film 'The Ghost and the Darkness' that was filmed in the area in 1996. The film dealt with the story of the Tsavo man eating lions. Kromdraai camp is fully operational in the reserve, each chalet comprises of 3 bedrooms, a small kitchen and an ablution facility.
