Old house for Paul Kruger is situated at Boekenhoutfontein farm. The buildings offers an insight into the life of Kruger before they were destroyed during the Anglo Boer war. Kruger died in 1904, then the buildings were passed on to his descendants, in 1971, it was then declared a national monument and now it is being administered by the Kedar hotel. The land around the area became part of Kedar game farm. A small fee is payable to tour through the house. .
