Tshokwane Tea-room and Picnic Site was named after a medicine man, named Tshokwane. It is unfortunately the busiest of the park's picnic sites as it is roughly midway between the 3 large camps of Skukuza, Satara and Lower Sabie. There is a wheelchair ablution around the back of the southern ablution block. There are ramps into the shop and serving area. Otherwise the surface is either cement or bricked or just bare earth compact in some places and sandy in others. Gas Skottel braai's are available for hire, but beware of thieving vervet monkeys, starlings and hornbills whilst enjoying the picnic.
