Lake Naivasha is the second largest lake in Kenya, with clean fresh water. From 1937 - 1950, the lake was used as a landing place for plane passengers travelling to Nairobi, but now, the lake has become one of the major fertile lands for the production of fruits, flower export business and vegetables. The lake also supports a large number of different bird species, like fish eagles, yellow billed storks, pelicans, marabou storks and smaller water birds, and many hippos.

At the campsites here you will be greeted by crisp green grass under tall yellow fever trees, just a few metres from the lake shore.
