This is the largest Camp in the Kgalagadi Park and a very popular tourist destination. It is situated on the banks of the Dry Nossob Riverbed.
They have fully equipped cottages and chalets with various bedroom options, single beds, double sleeper couches (not suitable for adults) etc.
Kitchens includes 2 plate stove with fridge and freezer. The units are open plan, with the kitchen and sleeping area combined and a seperate shower and toilet.
Internal roads not suitable for Sedan Vehicles.
This is the only camp in the Park with 24 hrs electricity and cell phone reception.
Due to this being a popular campsite, it is advisable to make a reservation. (Sept-17).

ACCESS:
Access to the Park from South Africa is at the Tweerivieren Gate. Passports are not required for entry, unless departure is planned through a different gate into another country.
The main Reception is at Twee Rivieren and you have to check in here regardless of whether you are staying at the camp or not.
FUEL:
The filling station at the camp sells premium and unleaded petrol and diesel.
GATE TIMES:
The border post at Mata Mata is open between 08:00 and 16:30 (no afterhours travel allowed) and operates independently of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park rest camp gates and park entry gates shown below:

In January, November and December, the camp gates open an hour earlier.
ROAD WARNING:
Guests travelling to Tweerivieren via Upington/Van Zylsrus must not drive at a high speed as the gravel sections on both routes are badly corrugated.
ROUTE INFO:
Travelling from Tweerivieren to Nossob is about 3.5 hours.
From Tweerivieren to Mata Mata is about 2.5 hours.
From Tweerivieren to Kalahari Tented Camp is about 2.5 hours.
From Tweerivieren to Grootkolk is about 6 hours.
