“We have been visiting Nata Lodge since 1998 and have fond memories of this tranquil place. Security has however become a problem of late, especially at the campsite where campers have been robbed. On our last visit, there was broken into the vehicle right next to us during the night. Thieves smashed the car window and took a handbag and 2 cameras. The security guards were sitting at the ablutions and did not even hear. We called them, after which they began searching in the dark. The thieves dumped the passports and credit cards near a fence, but took the rest. Be very careful with your valuables when staying here. The staff were very apologetic, but something needs to be done about this. According to the police robberies are quite common. ” - Mietsie Visser, 2012/07/09

“Please be advised that the lodge reopened on the 01 September 2009. The opening includes chalets and camp site. Thank you and Regards James French General Manager Nata Lodge Botswana +267 7453 3417” - Janine Reyneke, 2009/11/04

“IMPORTANT NOTICE It's with great sadness to inform you all about the devastating bush fire which burnt down Nata Lodge on 25th September 08. At this stage we are in no position to say when the rebuild of the lodge will be completed, but it will definitely take place.” - Janine Reyneke, 2008/10/15

“Closed due to a fire.” - Janine Reyneke, 2008/09/29
