Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy is a trust organisation which was established in 1995. The word Namunyak means ' a place of peace.' The conservancy is located in the Mathews Range of northern Kenya and its main aim was to promote the conservation of wildlife and enable socio economic development for the Samburu community. The trust is donor funded and main areas of focus is livestock keeping and tourism. There are campsites within the conservancy for accommodation.
