Letaba Restcamp is situated on the southern bank of the Letaba River. The name Letaba means 'river of sand' making it a good place to view game. As the camp is shady and offers sweeping views of the Letaba River, it is a very popular camp. The restaurant offers beautiful river views and guests often see game coming to drink. An extra attraction to the camp is the Elephant Museum where visitors can learn more about elephants and their conservation. There are numerous bird species to be seen in and around camp and many predators in the Letaba area.
The camp is situated more or less in the middle of the park and the closest gate to Letaba is Phalaborwa Gate. The restcamp facilities include camping, lodging, restaurant, shop, fuel station, swimming pool, Laundromat, ATM and a day visitor’s area.
A daily conservation fee is payable by all visitors to the park. For more information visitors can contact the SANPark Central Reservation Office. (Jan-17).

HEALTHCARE:
