Etosha National Park has Africa's largest salt pan, and this was 'discovered' by Sir Francis Galton and Charles Andersson in 1851. Andersson's at Ongava, which is on the edge of the park, takes its name from the Swedish explorer. Complete with tented units on raised decks with en-suites, has an eco-sensitive design, and from here visitors can watch over the waterhole or go visit springs and pans to look for wildlife.
Andersson's at Ongava offers seven contemporary designed luxury guest units and one family unit, accommodating a maximum of 18 guests, air conditioned, with coffee/tea making facilities. All bathrooms have en-suite with separate toilet and indoor and outdoor showers,
