Kumbira Forest Reserve is situated about 10km south of the town of Conda. This beautiful Afro-montane forest provides a habitat to a number of Angola’s threatened endemic bird species. The reserve focus on the "Kumbira Forest Project” which aims at protecting forests for the benefit of Threatened Angolan birds. The reserve have various tree species which ensure a habitable environment for all the species. Bird watching is the main activity within the reserve. Camping is the only accommodation option available. (Feb-18).
