There are 44 huge and fairly level grassed sites, with 4 people allowed per site. Everything is brand new so there is no shade or wind shelter as yet. Sites have standard power points, and the most beautiful ablutions imaginable. The showers are new, sparkling clean and big enough to swing the proverbial cat. Fittings are classy. Lovely kitchen with good quality washing-up facilities, and about half the stands have built braais (barbecue), but portable braais (barbecue) are also available.
There is a fresh water dam about 1km away where fishing (Rainbow trout) is allowed, hot water swimming pool, putt putt, trampoline and childrens playground. A Communal lapa is under construction.
Other activities include a 4x4 Routes and Mountain Biking. There is Ice & Wood for sale. Because it's away from populated areas, campers feel very safe and secure at this resort.
No Dogs allowed. No music allowed.

“We are camping at Vloedbos again and are pleased to report that the immaculate standards are being maintained. Despite the severe drought in the area, the camp is in beautiful condition. The shop has been enlarged and the name ‘ Vloedbos ‘, added on the nearby Koppie. Wessel, Tilani and the kids are doing a grand job in turning this into one of the best resorts in the Western Cape. Highly Recommended ” - Chris Smit, 2011/02/09
“Just returned from spending a long weekend at Vloedbos. Well done to the owners! Here is at last a camping facility where the owners have thought of the needs of the campers. Not once did my electricity trip due to low amperage trip switches. Never seen any ablutions as beautiful as these. Tranquility the order of the day, and the heated indoor swimming pool complemented by the large outdoor pool meant my kids were happy too! Well run, well managed. Highly recommended, and the new favorite around Cape Town.” - Brad Scorer, 2010/03/24
“We spent 5 days at Vloedbos during March 2010. Despite the camp being full, there was no shortage of hot water and the facilities were kept spotless. A Great deal of effort has gone into getting the new swimming pool and lapa ready for the long week-end. Wessel and Tilani (Owners) must be congratulated on the high standards maintained throughout. Highly recommended and we hope to be back soon.” - Chris Smit, 2010/03/21
