The Tamboti Vreugde Holiday Resort is situated next to the Dinokeng Nature Reserve. It is only 45 minutes from Pretoria and offers a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. They offer a variety of accommodation like a guesthouse called Hamerkopnes, self-catering chalets, a caravan park and a camping area. The caravan park and camping area has clean ablution facilities with hot water, power points, and some of the sites are shaded. It is the ideal break away for families on those special family holidays. The hosts of the resort will make your stay unforgettable. Activities include 4x4 trails, mountain Biking, game viewing and game drives, bird watching, hiking, swimming and fishing.

“Hello everyone. We apollogise for all the inconvenience that we have caused at your previous visits at Tamboti Vreugde. We have made some dramatic improvements and upgrades that ensures that these complications will stay a thing of the past. We have been trying to turn over a new leaf since the beginning of the year. With a new management team (with previous resort management skills) permanently on site and a marketing team we hope that we can give you the experience that you want from the African Nature and wildlife. First of all let us give you a description of the new Tamboti Vreugde and list some pros and cons: We are a holiday resort that has accommodation for tents and caravans, we have chalets available, and a guest house (separated from the resort) and a group campsite for over 60 people also separate. Our 3-star caravan park has 60 caravan sites available each with its own portable braai, with 78 electricity points and trash cans all around the park. We have six, 5-star chalets available, a 8 bed, a 6 bed and four 4 bed chalets (with custom built furniture) all with DSTV, air-conditioning, covered parking space and a separated braai area. We are a holiday resort enclosed in an electrified fence in the Dinokeng Wildlife Reserve (Think of Tamboti Vreugde as Skukusa for The Kruger National Park). We have 4 ablution blocks that has family bathrooms and dishwashing stations that are cleaned four times a day. We have a tuck shop in the resort with basic necessities and a variety of soft drinks, snacks, ice creams and sweets. If you did not find what you seek, there is always Safari Mall that offers a wider variety of goods (Cafe, Petrol Station and bottle store available). We have different recreational activities available in and around the resort; in the resort we have a playground for the children, a games area (with a pool table and dart boards), a volleyball court, a heated swimming pool and a walk/ cycling route around the park. We also have a total of 4 small pools and one kiddies pool that are cleaned every morning. We also have game drives available and we also sell self drive permits from Dinokeng if you would like to view the wild from the comfort of your own vehicle. We do not have any game in the resort itself because of its small size, but we have an abundance of game constantly walking past the resort so there is always something to see. We are a holiday resort at heart that prides ourselves in keeping our resort a source of peace and tranquillity of nature where you can experience the relaxing atmosphere of the wild where the birds are your alarm clock and where the call of the lions and jackals are your source of entertainment at night. “HI EK moet se die vakansie is nie lekker hier by tamboti nie! 1.toilete meer as twee weke stukend nog nie reg nie 2.swembadens stink en is baie groen en ek sien geen goed in gegooi vir meer as drie dae nie 3.badkamer nie skoon nie 4.warmwater swembad is af as daar minder as die ½ in die kamp is ( hy het pomp vir hutte dan se hy dis nie sy skuld nie maar sodra meer mense in kom dan is die water weer warm!) 5.en die beste maak dat die vlee jou mal maak!
